Can anyone tell me why although my AI Aircraft take off they do not land but just appear at their gates. In some instances they call ATC asking for landing clearance and then they disappear

Do you have AI planes wich are not the default ones?

could be the FDE (aircraft.cfg) or you might be using aircraft that really shouldn't be used for AI.

AI aircraft that have been added on can have a habit of dissopearing if the aircraft is too large for the airport or the flight plan is in someway incorrect
