can anyone out there tell me how to edit the strength of a plane's brakes.

Yes, there is. Aircraft have a file named "aircraft.cfg" This file can be found in the aircraft folder of the plane you want to edit.
The 172 cfg has a section like this
[brakes]
parking_brake = 1 //Parking brake available
toe_brakes_scale = 0.68 //Brake scalar
The toe break scalar can be adjusted by increasing or decreading number. You should always write down everything before you change it. That way, you will be able to change it back.  |
