Not to be cynical or anything, but one, why is this posted in the wrong forum? Two - why havent you followed the instructions given in the download? Three, if there werent any instructions in the download, why didnt you set it up like all the other planes u have downloaded? Four, if not already, why havent u made sure that if this is supposed to be a plane u can fly or if it is an AI aircraft?
-jus some things to think about. |

What version of flight sim is it in firstly, then once thats established, then you should have posted your question in the relevant area, as sonic has said, are you sure its not an AI aircraft. My suggestion is, post this again in FS2004 if thats what it refers to, then give a link as to where you obtained the download, we can see then at a glance if there's a problem.

| C'mon lc, what was the file...the proper name of the .zip and exactly where you got it. Hundreds upon hundreds of people come on here looking for help and no-one that's provided all the pertinent information, and a bit of patience to work through a problem with those that want to help, ever goes away unsatisfied. It's up to you. |

I dont know how to do that so here is what i did, i went to the search box on surclaro. then i types "emirates A380" and selected the pre FS2004 airliner aircraft section, i clicked on download to the only option there and it came in a "zipped" file (God only knows what that means!)

Ok, file name is 380ekmx2.zip
http://www.surclaro.com/download.php?op=search&query=emirates%20A380
you need to click on this first, then you will get an option to "Save", (remember where you save it to) then you need WinZip to unzip the file into a folder of your choice, (set up a blank folder on your desktop is best) then you will see all the files inside this folder. There is also a readme file within it, which gives you the install procedure, suggest you read it.
Also, click on these links for more info on installing aircraft
http://www.surclaro.com/help/Installing.php
Hope this helps.

Winzip is a seperate program, you will need this to unzip most everything for any Flight Sim, click on this link and it will take you there http://www.winzip.com/index.htm
By the way, your pretty close to me, if your Gatwick, I'm in Caterham.
Mel.
PS. You will probably find that all this will get moved to the FS2002 section. |
