NOW THEN GENTLEMEN- no squabbling in public- I am the oldest fart in this topic so I should keep all of you in order!
I decided to revert back to a full reinstall so have just wasted an afternoon's flying time, FSX, then SP1, then FSUICP, then F14 and so on and so on- but at least now it lets me fly continuously.
thanks Steve.I will "tinker " with the tent later, would have enjoyed more taking it out with some armaments!!!!
You only find your way around any systems when they go wrong. I will always enjoy the challenge of learning more about what make this fantastic hobby work and thanks to all for their input and help. I think my input to this topic is now closed for a while.
