| I think it's a bit underpowered. If it were mine, I would get extra cooling and put in at least a 700 watt unit. |

What is the make and model of the MB?
I would agree with GS... Bigger power supply. |

ONLY 500w?????
Have to agree with GS on the power situation. At least a 700w PSU should be installed.
As for cooling, you didn't mention what you have, so I can't suggest anything.
Otherwise, running FSX should be pretty good. But you didn't say if you have VISTA or XP as an OS.

| My God, man. That rig could run the Paris-Dakar ralley without the car! Why arent you shooting for Vista All The Bells And Whistles x64? That way you could run DX10 full shaders and see the true FSX! I mean, what you have there is more than capable from a hardware perspective, why not use it? |

Looks like a pretty good rig, but as everyone else has said, the PSU is the only thing that lets it down.
Even I am running a 750w on my XP machine.
So many people seem to ignore the Power Supply, the fact that it's working, seems ok to most, but the poor old critter generally is crying in out pain with having to cope with everything.
