I insalled that THN texture and it works fine....have the same model you do too....hmmmm.

This is what I did:

Put the THN texture in the POS A340 a/c folder
Renamed it 'Texture.thn
Opened up the aircraft.cfg and copy/pasted the Flightsim.x section underneath itself.
Modified Flightsim entry Flightsim.x to Flightsim.3. You name this to the next available number you have though.
Modified entry: title=Airbus A340-200 Air Tahiti Nui VC
Modified entry: texture=thn

Saved cfg...fire up FS...find the a/c and then the texture and bingo...

This what you did?

Ya. And I changed the ATC callsign to ATN for Air Tahiti Nui.

So you did exactly what I did? Copied the existing Flighsim section and just changed those parameters in blue and it doesn't work properly?

Is that what urs looks like. Seeing urs I changed
texture=THN
to texture=thn
I dont think itll make a difference

Everytime I try to add a screen with my post the my internet like logs off??

I changed my texture=thn to lower case cause I don't like bold type.

if you change that then you have to rename the texture folder exact to the changes you made. ie...texture.thn

Hold on...checking into something...email me the pic.

wait a second...

the TAP livery is for a A340-300...the THN is for a 200...

you got both models?

Just noticed something. In one of your later posts, the .cfg you posted shows the sim as an A340-200. Your texture is for an A340-300. Do you have the right model and is the texture you are trying to use in the correct model's folder?

K....the THN texture is for the 300. Same for the TAP.

The readme that came with the THN package is not complete in any way. Usually you are provided with a aircraft.cfg entry code in it but this guy didn't do any of that....that readme is the standard POS readme.txt.

So there ya go. Slap it on the 300.

It said that the textures was for an A340-200?? OMG it worked. THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!
