Hey
I'm getting problems from my ATi Radeon 200 Xpress series graphics card. Games such as FS9 and Counter Strike just....close, and i get a pop up saying i have an engine error. I cant figure it out. So i think it time i get that graphics card upgrade. I am looking for something a little better thand the 200 series, even though it wasnt the best card, it certainly did a fine job, and I do not want to spend a crap load of money if possible. Any hits? |

| Well, you're gonna have to be a little more specific. We will need some basic system info. such as processor, motherboard, RAM, power supply, operating system, etc. |

| anything from BFG Tech. I will continue to use there GPU's as they have a lifetime warrenty and are very high quality. I would suggest a 8600 or 8500 card. |

I would like to take a moment to point out how not to make a recommendation. This thread is as yet far too vague for such certitude, you might as well suggest a battery powered kaleidoscope |

Let me know if you require more information. Maybe I can link you to my computer's Belarc profile... |

this is just a guess but is it this:HP Pavilion a1130n Desktop PC
If so you do have a PCIx16 Express slot, which is good. If you get the card i pointed out to you. However you will need a larger powersupply as i do not think your current one will suffice. I don't know the wattage but it is a Common Brandname so it cant be much. Just be careful when choosing things as the cases they use are usually much smaller than what most PSU are intended for.
EDIT: Oh forgot this:
