Learn how to add jetwash to your screenshots with this tutorial.

Start out by opening up Photoshop and opening your unedited screenshot.

Next, create a duplicate layer of the background, either by using Layer-Duplicate Layer, or just pressing CTRL+J.

Note: If you choose to use CTRL+J, the Duplicate Layer window will not show, and your new duplicate layer will show as Layer 1 by default.

Select the duplicate layer.

Add Gaussian Blur of 2.0 pixels. (Filter-Blur-Gaussian Blur)

Should look like this after the blur is applied:

Apply the Ocean Ripple Filter. (Filter-Distort-Ocean Ripple) The amount of the sliders will vary from screenshot to screenshot, depending on the angle of the shot and distance from the engine. Play with the sliders to get the effect you want.

Apply a 'Hide All' Layer Mask to the top layer, or duplicate layer. (Layer-Layer Mask-Hide All)

Once that's done your screen should look like this:

Press 'D' to reset your palette. White should be the foreground color and black will be the background. Make sure the layer mask is selected. Use the Brush tool to color in the jetwash. If you overbrush somewhere and want to eliminate some jetwash, simple press 'X' on your keyboard to swap the black and white and brush with black to erase jetwash. Press 'X' again to continue adding jetwash.

If you want to be fancy, you can also make multiple layers with different Gaussian Blur and Ocean Ripple settings so you can adjust the jetwash to the way you like.

Finally, save your work.

Yep, me for one....... tried it Heesung, a new method for me, but the result is very good, better than mine, I will see if I can post up a result a bit later........ nice one.
