RE: MetroAir Boeing 737-200Adv Fleet for Sale
Dear Virtual Airline Executive ~
As you may have recently read, MetroAir Virtual Airlines has begun making final arrangements for the retirement of the esteemed MetroAir Boeing 737-200Adv fleet, having been superseded by the newer A319 fleet of aircraft steadily being delivered from Europe. Six of the seven B732A's will be flown from their temporary storage locations at Southern California Logistics Airport (KVCV) in Victorville, California to the Roswell International Air Center in Roswell, New Mexico on the 17th of May. Upon entering storage at Roswell, each of the six airframes will be de-identified of logos and MetroAir specific markings and placed in a cared long-term storage cycle. If a suitable buyer is not secured for all airframes by the end of Summer 2008, each of these aircraft will be sold to the local scrappers and cut up.
At this time, all aircraft are virtually available at Southern California Logistics Airport (KVCV) in Victorville, California for inspection. MetroAir's first Boeing 737-200Adv (the seventh airframe (N732MT) is slated for permanent static display at Los Angeles Ontario International Airport (KNOT) in Ontario, California and is not for sale.
The following aircraft maintenance and specification packet will serve as a suitable average for TT, cycles and other maintenance information considered average amongst the entire fleet:

MetroAir is proud to announce that a purchaser has been selected for the Boeing 737-291Adv fleet following their May 17th delivery to the Roswell International Air Center in Roswell, New Mexico. Majestic Air of London, UK was selected as the highest bidder who met all ancillary requirements for a successful transaction.
Majestic Air will be purchasing all six (6) retired Boeing 737-291Adv aircraft previously operated by MetroAir on behalf of their sister-airline DreamJet. “We believe that the Boeing 737-200 will welcome a whole host of new destinations for the summer season” said Majestic Air CEO Christopher Kellet in a phone interview this morning. “We chose the Boeing 737-200 for its quick turnaround times, which are well suited to the type of airline we aim to run, and we hope that Majestic and DreamJet can utilize the Boeing 737-200 to its full extent from a new summer hub in Florida.”
New York-based DreamJet CEO Conner Kuschel stated today "It's an unbelievable accomplishment to receive 6 excellent aircraft from one of the most notable airlines in today's market.” DreamJet was born shortly following the unexpected shutdown of EOS Airlines. “These aircraft will play a fundamental role in seasonal charters through out the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean” Kuschel continued. "With these new birds it will make traveling easier to Major European Soccer Games." Both airlines plan to split the fleet up with 3 in America and 3 in Europe following delivery acceptance in Roswell, New Mexico later this month.
