Yes they may be clearer, but they're not buch more realistic. No dirt, smoke trails on the fuselage, little thingies are not implemented. Just looks like FS98, simple bitmaps sticked on the airplane.

Netherlands Atilles---Saba airport

I downed the scenery, very beatiful. Hard to takeoff and land. But the problem is the RWY is closed in both directions, and the start point is place in the wrong place. Can anybody tell me how to deal with this?

If you're using fullscreen, hit ALT, and go to Options/Flight Video... and click on "Record New Clip". Then do the aerobatics, and hit ESC when you finish. Then name the video. And then go to Settinge/Flight Video... again select your video, and press PLAY Video, NOT ON OK. Now select the view, and ...

I'm not saying anything about the aircraft. They're great, much better than MS ones, I'm just saying that screenshots are not made in FS. I'm aware of the awards he has been given.

It is very noticable, the 747 nose closeup. Fing the screenhot ypuself, because I can't find it right now. It is from an angle which can't be achived in fs using SHIFT+ENTER/BACKSPACE, SHIFT+CTRL+ENTER/BACKSPACE. The textures have reflections of the taxiway bumps, which is also unbelivable in FS!

My fav is the Aerospaitale ATR72-500. And as for your aircraft, did you copy all the effects in the effects folder of your flight Simulator dir? If you did and the problem remains, try editing your fs9.cfg file. It is liocated in your Documents and Settings/Your Username/Documents/Flight Simulator F...

Ha, first again Lorti 8) Willempas welcome to the forum, have fun learning! Is the aitcraft you're having problems a default one or an addon? If it's a default one, you might be missing the mask texture. That would make the lights be visible, but wouldn't illuminate the runway. Also check are you pr...

Don't worry, I was just kidding about the name. Er, just bank the plane to the side, and watch the compass, when you're about 15 degrees off the desired heading (the heading you wanna turn to), then level the wings (0 degrees bank) and then correct the heading by small banks 3-5 degrees

20 is ok too, I was thinking you under-rotated, less than 10 degrees, that isn't enough. Anyway, be carefull no to over rotate, that will not get you in the air, it will get you poked in the ground.

Hre's an idea how to make those flights a littl less boring in the sim. Make a page of all the good sites you like, and save it a the notes for an aircraft. That way when you open your kneeboard, you'll have acsess to internet. I'm hopping around Hawaii as we speak. Oh, it's time for the difficult a...

It means that if you have an older video card, like nVidia GooForce 2 mx200 or something, the alpha channel, as well as the z-buffer options are not supported. It is the same as subtitles cannot be transparent on DIVX movies. It is called over-scanning, or something.

Yes, the ATR is a good medium range machine, quite easy to fly. The important thing is the powerful engines, so you can climb with 70-80 percent of power. Not like the Cessna. 100% power, and only 400 feet per minute. After some tests, I found out it's a STOL aircraft

I'm glad that FS2002 is working, but tell me please what do you mean by calculated banks, just bank to 15-25 degrees, and start a smooth rollout (to zero deg of bank) about 15 degrees from your desired heading.
