Thanks groundsquirrel for the pointers and letting me know about the Korea campaign. It would be amazing to fly in Africa with and against the Afrika Corps.I have just started flying CFS 3 last night and was shot down once and I managed to get one BF109. IL2 Pacific is that good? Hmm, you've piqued ...

CFS 2 vs. CFS 3

Hi everyone at SurClaro. I have an opinion question. I recently purchased CFS 3 and haven't installed it yet as I am cleaning out my HDD for space and was wondering if it is worthwhile to buy CFS 2 only because I really like flying the F4U Corsair in FS9 and would enjoy battles with the Zero (also f...

I don't know about the file you are talking about paulvil, but I couldn't get the panels with the appropriate catapult arm switch or the "meatball" heads up display to work till I installed the file groundsquirrel suggested: se.f14bv2.zip Found at AVSim. p.s. paulvil, if you want me to send you the ...

After much fiddling and 3 modifications to the panel.cfg I have finally found one that has a lot of what is shown in the screenshot I posted up there. The bad news is its yet another file but this one has an ID from AVSim. The file is: se.f14bv2.zip As quoted from the readme from this file: FS2004 F...

Haha thats a good effect! I just plowed one of the default 737's into a river near the airport and it was quite a spectacular fireball. I want as much realism as I can get and its not just a game...its a freakin' great game but I understand what you mean and I'm on your side too! Now I want to look ...

Just 2 things from my point of view. If you are like me and for whatever reason cannot or won't shell out for more software but still want to do carrier landings with fs9 its a fairly long, time consuming and in the end imperfect result. If you want to get the Combat Flight Sim or fs9 add on Flight ...

groundsquirrel I am going to look for this freebee crash add-on. Thanks for the filename. I think its a cool thing to be able to have crash effects even if you are the most perfect flier who is not modest at all and doesn't crash but laughs at people who do. Perhaps the planes should bounce? How wou...

graham72, I just wanted to say thanks for posting the 2nd link for aircraft. I have been quite happy with the downloads here at SurClaro but have nearly run out of ones to download that I fancy at this time. This place should keep me busy for quite some time till I start reading on how to make my ow...
