DX10 is much better looking than DX9 and i see a huge performance GAIN in DX10. But now we are on DX11 so.....I don't mind, i will only be using the default cessna most of the time time i guess.

It is annoying. I didn't look to much into what textures the default a/c use. Don't know, kinda annoyed by it. I do have Wilco E-Jets that work just fine in DX10. I also found an addon texture for the default 172, as well as a Cessna 182RG that works and a 202 or 204 that works just fine as well.

FSX, DX10, addon a/c showing up white.

Not all of them are, only certain ones. Namely a 727 that looks really awesome. I have read that this is because of DX10 and that seems to be the case. Is there a way I can update the textures/aircraft to use DX10?

File Name: FSX-SP2-Boeing727-200
I got it from fs-freeware.net
Using W7 Ultimate x64

just a suggestion, probably won't work, but are you right clicking and choosing "Run as Administrator" on your FS9 icon?

REX for FS9, Some screens

First off, these are edited shots. Second, REX is an addon for FS9 and definitely updates FS9 look to compete with FSX in almost every way. Third, here are some shots: http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s177/121arocks/fsscr020.jpg http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s177/121arocks/fsscr021.jpg http:/...

nope, cannot find anything relating to system debuggers in W7. googled too with no luck, only XP stuff, which deals with the boot.ini file which is removed from Vista and W7. I don't think the starting error is related to FS9, more so addons that i have installed. also, don't get the error on my Mac...

I too was a RC tester and found it much smoother than Vista Home Premium 64bit. As you can see in my specs i have a fairly good system and it runs great on it. With that being said, I also got a MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard 64bit three weeks ago and I love it. IMO much better for everyday things li...

I'll mess around with it tomrrow. Oh and also running as admin with admin ac...

Running windows 7 ultimate and just installed my FS9 again and got everything loaded into it and realized when i go to use the "add area" feature in the Scenery Library it does not add it. find a bunch of FSX screen shots using your netbook
download them to one file
open the first one up
then wait 3 seconds
hit the left arrow key
repeat every 3 seconds
That is probably what it would look like, Netbook=For the interwebz not the resource hog FSX...

are you out of fuel?
is MS/Other failure settings programed in?
a file name and link to where we can download it is helpful.
