Not sure about FS9, though I've seen various files for "AI" boats on Avsim and the like.

This website seems to prove that its possible in FSX however..I don't own FSX to test it, but it was a fun read.

Thanks for the info. With real-world flightplans, its usually impossible to not have a go-around, or very few...

Usually after loading FS, I have a squadran of about 15 just stacked all together, 4 747's, 5 757's, 3 A319's...blah blah. It was sad. But we'll see.

lol, Pings my codename, Tim is the real :wink: I remember when AISmooth came out, wasn't it also supposed to help stop the number of go-arounds by separating the AI on final? Did that ever work? I never got it, but if it really works I should, lol. Thanks RD, I tend to pop-in here and there, usually...

Usually duplicate flightplans would result in having the planes flying together, inside of eachother, rather than in formation. At least that's what it was in FS9.

But I have no desire to check out FSX and see if that has changed, so I couldn't tell ya.

I am wondering, tell me if this seems illogical, but to have if 2 ports on one afcad. That way I could avoid landfall. Create the plan, and just have the ship follow the taxiway to the next port, or parking spot... Like I said, not to familiar with working with water strips. Usually just the land ai...

Please, save yourself the framerates and DONT get ultimate traffic, mytraffic, etc... The models look like *beep*, the paint jobs look like they were done by 5 year olds, and they perform crappy. Well for one, traffic 05 is not worth it...

For two, it shouldn't have been a traffic 05 problem. That should have been an afcad problem.

So reinstalling ur ai traffic fixed this? Odd...

I may have forgotten to run "collect airports"... This was in the direction buddy. Anyway, this will collect all airports in the game in a file, there-for your flightplans will not have errors (simple way of putting it). :wink:

Dont take this in a harsh way, but man, your going to have to do some reading. Upon dowloading the packages from WOAI... it says they are a full package, meaning it includes everything. In order to install them, get the installer which is on the website. Im pretty sure WOAI stands for World of AI co...

yes...but unless you have a $999,999,999 computer, i suggest NOT using project opensky as AI. There are aircraft specifically for AI. Check out soem of the threads under this forum. There are many posts with experienced AI'ers telling how to install realistic AI.

In case of airplanes... EvolveAI is a great place for a few airbus narrowbodies! They are just as good of quality as AI-aardvark, plus the frames are good. Check them out!

Cloud9 is making a really nice LAX. And MUCH updated from the, what was it... FS2000 KLAX that Simflyers put out, but made updates to fit FS2002.

Keep visiting that site and Im sure it will be out sometime soon hopefully. :)
