Hey guys! Long time no talk! Sorry for such a long absence. I've been so heavily focused on schoolwork and projects that I completely brushed Surclaro aside. But now, things seem to be under control, and I'm so delighted to be back! Let's cut to the chase. I wish I had time to realize what I've miss...

I thought most games disable Aero by default since Aero takes up a ton of system resources. So I would just consider this behavior normal.

Re: Ihave.

I'll take Video Cards for a hundred Pat.... I'm still running on my '04 ATI 9600xt128pro and I am flying FSX. Mind you I cant crank it up or my card will start to gush electrons, but it is more than flyable and the visuals are very good. Wow, you're still on that old thing?! You had that card ever ...

A traffic enhancer can cause the graphics card to overheat?! That's odd. I thought extra AI would only cause CPU overload. But anyways, I agree. WOAI has been an excellent add-on.

Well, that makes sense. Installing programs would definitely create new registry entries. What I didn't know was how merely creating a new Word document created an entry.

That's normal. The screen flicker is actually your monitor's fault. Some monitors take some time to change resolutions.

EDIT: Also, if you're using Windows Vista with the Aero interface, starting up some games will actually turn off Aero, causing a momentary flicker.

I love my barrel rolls. So how about making one with a 5 point harness, and the speed and ability, to go 360 degrees. Come on man, make it right, or not at all.

The power is fed through the data cable in a Laptop drive, so a loose cable couldn't possibly explain it. Seems like it's bust, replacements for it are quite expensive, unless you do decide to go external. Didn't know there was only one cable. Interesting stuff to know. So yeah, in that case, I agr...

If this is an internal drive, have you checked the cables? Have you tried using the drive in any other computer? If the symptoms persist even on other computers, the drive is probably dead.
