what's the fun in that?

you worry too much guys.. on a 777 you can just turn the autopilot on, set altitude according to the flight, the vertical speed between 1500 and 2000 depending on your patience, speed 250 and voila! the plane will do what's needed.. they're pretty smart actually... sit back and take a snooze. Well....

Another problem w/ Vista, FS09 and FSX

Ok all.. Please tell me that I'm not the only one having these problems. I've got Vista 32 and I've installed FSX and been loving it. However, I really missed all the add-ons (PAI, numerous airliners, scenery add ons and etc.), so I decided to install FS09 too. However, when I go to install any of t...

ok, but since I didn't save all the addons by themselves, do you suggest I completely copy all of the data files within in MSFS (aircraft, sounds, gauges etc.) and then just reinstall and then move all those copied files over?

Hey all, Wondering to see if anyone can help me! first off, I believe I may have a virus or spyware that keeps minimizing FS and returning me back to the desktop about 5 times every 20 minutes or so. It is very frustrating as I have done soo many virus scans, and spyware scans and it continues to ha...

Captain El wrote What if you are in the thickest of fogs? Or the weather is just too bad for you to be able to land properly? In these situations it would be necesary to use autoland. By the way, real pilots also use it most of the time In this case, as in the real world... if weather conditions ar...

are you referring to GPWS when landing (ground proximity warning system)??

just try a quick search on avsim.com or surclaro.com......

I would recommend FSpassengers......it's payware, but it comes with a whole bunch of cool things...

here's the link...

T-fish... you wrote the simflyers is a Frame rate killer?? Is it worth it though and do you have to download each scenery for each of the airports listed?? In addition, I installed new textures in my FS texture files that improves the look of airports... is that going to conflict with simflyers??

actually..... I've been using the same approach as pauls to finding the ILS freq. to use to locate the localizer and glidescope.... but I also like Shankar's way too... the only problem is that it "pauses" the action when you go to the map... but both are great ways to line yourself up for a great I...

Why am I constantly being forced to Go Around when landing?

Hey all, Real quick question. I usually fly a add-on MD-80 when I'm coming into KLAX or KDFW I am flying about 175 KIAS with 10 flaps and I get into the pattern as ATC requests. I then start to line up about 5 miles out and ATC tells me "run straigght in, you're clear for landing, go to tower" and t...
