ok, i just bought my friends FS2002, and when i go to install it, it can not verify the installation media. whatever that means. Any ideas on how to get around this or fix it????

You will need a program called TTools or TrafficChanger (traffic changer found here: http://www.surclaro.com/download.php?op=viewdownloaddetails&lid=15159&ttitle=trafficchanger3.zip ) when making flight plans for your aircraft, you will have to specify WHAT KIND OF AIRPLANE is flying s...

suggestion: if you have to uninstall, just copy/paste your ENTIRE Addon Scenery folder to your desktop, along with your Gauges, SIM OBJECTS, Modules, and FLIGHTS folders.

This way it may only take up to 20 min to reinstall back to where you were before the "crash"

READ ALL THE PICS BELOW!!!!!! I took the shots in FS9, but the same steps apply to FSX other than your AIRCRAFT folder is inside FSX > SIM OBJECTS

rename the panel folder inside the AIRCRAFT FOLDER to PANEL.BAK --- download / pick another panel that you would like to use in that craft, and PASTE it in your Aircraft folder. simle as that.

nope. just the comp was in sleep mode, and when they went to wake it up... black screen of death. Now, at times, Win XP will not even boot up. it either just shows DELL and goes to black screen and nothing else (power is on, but kinda like the monitor turns off) ..... or it shows DELL and then KEYBO...

1 word. NOPE. it is no longer available unless you have a registration code. and before you, or anyone else asks, the folks over at FSNAV are NOT working on a version for FSX (at least as far as anyone knows from various forums.)

first off, what was the aircraft or download that started this whole mess?? (file name and link to where you got it would be nice and helpful).

dumb question, but...... is your FSX a DEMO VERSION???? if it is, then maybe your time has run out on your DEMO as the error message says.

i do know that SP2 updates FSX to work better with DX10 Video Cards, and that SP2 is the latest update; as it is a basic component of the Accelleration extension pack.
