Hi people! thanks for the many replies, but my initial questions remains more or less unanswered, so I would kindly like to ask you to check out the specs in the starting post, and tell me if it will run fsx with a decent framerate. Those intel core duo's are way to expensive here in belgium, and th...

My future FSX rig?
Hi all, Given the arrival of fsx in a few weeks, me and my brother are looking forward to buy a new pc configuration. I've configured us a rig which would come at about 900€ here in belgium and contains the following hardware and runs on XP Home SP2. ASUS M2V-TVM (AM2 socket) 2GB RAM 667Mhz AMD 64X2...

The next step in the upgrade process...
Hi everybody. First of all I'd like to thank you guys for the advice given a few weeks back regarding the upgrade of my pc to improve visual quality and fps. In the meanwhile I have been saving up some €, and upgraded my CPU a while ago. Instead of the celeron 2.5Ghz I had, I'm now on a P4 3ghz emt6...

uncontrolable planes in multiplayer
Hi all, Maybe some of you have encountered this problem also. Whenever I am flying in multiplayer mode in fs (yes, I do the built in fs multiplayer with my brother frequently), I often have problems with my plane (or my bro in his): it keeps turning and turning and turning untill I reload the plane....

Next to my sidewinder joystick (for military jets), I'm using a CH Flight Sim Yoke, which I got from the simware store here in brussels(www.simw.com). Amazing how this device improves your flight sim experience.

I'm using FSPassengers for about 3 months now, and it simply rocks. This add-on really gives you something to do. Bring your passengers safely from x to y and get rewarded or punished. You'll be judged on landings, fllying skills, etc. It is simply the best add on you'll ever find. In bad weather, y...

erhem... May I just hop in a little bit? :D Where do I see what CPU I am currently using? Because I am not sure wether I have a strong or weak CPU as I am having the same problem as Vito here with big airports. It might be the graphics card, an some people mentioned to me here, or the CPU. I can't ...

Hi people! Thanks for all your feedbacks! As a first step I finally bought the P4, 3Ghz EMT64 processor, and installed it this morning. So, it is compatible with the m/b! Ofcourse the next step will be to replace my gpu, and I'm hoping of doing that next month ;) Well, I've noticed most of you are a...

Yes, indeed, you are absolutely right. If I would buy the cpu I mentioned above, that would mean I'd have to change the m/b as well, since the PE-1 isn't 64bit enabled :( (just discovered that a few minutes ago). I've just called my regular pc-parts store, and they have only 1 cpu left that I could ...
