A different Concorde.

Just downloaded and tried out a Concorde package from Graviton-Mediatech. Includes 20 versions. Although the panel is a little basic, the aircraft is not bad and fun to fly. Many effects including VC and sonic boom! Never heard of this company before and a forum search produced nothing. At £6.99 th...

Mike I have had the Saitek Yoke, throttle quadrant & pedals for about a year now. I have never had any problem with the yoke or quadrant, they stay plugged in 24/7. I did however have a problem with the pedals, but as I bought mine from Flightstore, they were brilliant and sent out a new one immedia...

Great pictures BP! Well you certainly missed it (just!). Let's hope the real thing is a bit different as going there Tuesday morning.

Anyway will have another go tomorrow a bit faster and make sure I'm spot on with the GS indicator on the HSI. Will let you know.

Thanks

Bp, What I meant was that flying faster to avoid the hill would mean showing high on the GS. That is Ok except if you were flying in thick fog and unable to see the hill! Ouch!

Anyway, flown in Tinmouse 732 & Posky 752. Full flaps at this point on both a/c.

Cheers

BP, I was on finals at 140 kts, and instruments showed following GS Ok. I will try a little faster, but approaching in thick fog without the benefit of sight would mean instruments were misleading and I fear a sticky end!

I tried with 3 different aircraft today and had the same result! Just caught the landing gear each time. ILS morse working fine, instruments following GS faultlessly. Very odd. I have'nt yet tried with a default a/c but suspect this will make no difference. Is there anyway of altering the G/S? Thank...

Thanks for trying it BP. I will try again tomorrow. So far I've always pulled up just before the hill and flown over. This time I'll let it fly on Autopilot all the way to DH.

Cheers

The reason I asked you to try it was to get your experience. It seems the glideslope is set incorrectly as when followed it takes you into the hill in front of the threshold. I just wondered if it happens to everyone or a problem with my version.

Fuerteventura Approach

Try an automated ILS approach (109.50) on Runway 1 at Fuerteventura, Canary Isles. (GCFV). I'm interested to see if averyone has the same result.

Just an update.

Have now downloaded Ken Mitchell's a320 panel from Avsim and all is working ok. Still can't understand what was wrong with the first one but anyway, quite happy now!

Thanks for your help,

Another of these special effects I have seen is the 'Buttkicker' system which attaches to your chair. This is supposed to give the effect of bumps etc on landing.

Does anyone have experience of this system, is is worth the almost £100 price tag?

Hi Mel
Sorry for delay.

I've tried everything, but no autothrottle! Gone back to previous panel and all working ok! Weird! Never mind, will carry on with old panel for now. Thanks for your help, does seem a strange one.

Cheers

Mel,

Still no good at links, but the a320 was straight from the ifdg site, and for the a340, that came directly from Posky.

Thanks for your answers everyone. Not only have I reloaded the panel, tried it on several aircraft, and even downloaded Ken Mitchells a340 panel from this site and still having the same problem. Auto Throttle Problem

Hi, I have downloaded Ken Mitchell's brilliant A330 panel from this site, ab330kmp.zip under 2004 panels. It is a truly great panel, with many systems that enhance the sim. There is an alteration to a file from z_ab330km to z_ab320km in the gauges file which makes the whole thing work, which it does...

Thanks guys for looking. Just a shame that it can't be sorted, but as you say it is a really nice aircraft. Mel, if yo...

Have downloaded several of the brilliant Meljet 777s and they all seem to have the same problem.
