If I fly exactly north from a runway, and the the runway on which I have to land is named 25R, located 350 kms northwest of the current runway, does that mean the Course as well as Heading for this runway would be 250. And if the same runway lies 350 kms to north east, then what becomes of the headi...

I have gone word by word of his article along with the pictures he has given. First, most of what he has described is for FS2004, then perhaps some German language on pictures has also been used. It may seem easy to experts simmers on this forum but to a novice like me, its pretty tough stuff, which...

Perhaps you are right. Something is terribly wrong with me and this FS thing. One friend of mine from Airforce ( a real pilot) told me that actual flying is actually more easier than FS, the serious difference that you cant take chances for crashes :P Anyway can you tell me of some website where I c...

I was flying IFR in clear weather. Another strange thing that happened when I couldnt locate the airport after flying randomly over Minneapolis, the plane itself started taking a round turn when I switched off the autopilot. I got panicked and swithced the autopilot on once again. Another thing whic...

Question regarding GPS

I just tried to take a flight from Chicago to St.Paul Intl Minneapolis. I made the settings in GPS and made the plane airborne and then put values in Autopilot and let the autopilot in GPS mode fly it to StPaul. The GPS window was guiding me and showing that I was on direct path to Minneapolis.(cour...

Well, I think the problem remain where it was. Ok. Do you guys know of any add-on like a gauge or smoething like that, where a pilot can exactly set the take off trim, set the exactly take off pitch in degrees and put in some speed limits, so that the plane takes off smoothly.

Hi ATR_Flyer I did as you said, like shutting the engines and then reversing. Well the reversing part of the flight went smoothly this time. I then disabled the jopystick, started the engines and tried to taxi by F3 and F2 just like you mentioned in your post. Still the *beep* plane taxies quick and...

Whats the way of a smooth Take off

I have been trying my luck with Boeing 737 in FS2002. The problem is that during take off at proper speed whenever I press the Num2 on the keyboard, the plane doesnt take off. Even if I tap this key 2, 3 or 4 successive times, the plane doesnt rise. It only rises if I keep the Num2 pressed but in th...
