Almost freebie Saitek scooped...

Post by harkgoddammit » Sat Jul 21, 2012 11:44 am

Lol, just dropped 40 bucks on a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick 6 weeks ago or so, & then two days ago I find an unopened, unused Saitek 3D Cyborg digital Joystick at the Thrift store for 3 bucks. No one but me in this whole tri-town area was meant to walk into this store for this deal but me - right place, right time sometimes, eh? Thought I'd share this little conversation last nite with a girlfriend of mine.

Well, what are you doing with the other joystick?

I'll probably set up the Saitek and use it if I like it, & the other one can be backup.

Well why don't you put that flying program on my computer now?

Oh, I didn't know you enjoyed the Flight Simulator thing, really?

Oh sure, I used to fly your airplanes around when you were out of the room - I knew how to hit the 'Pause' key.

Yeah, if the Cyborg is workin' for me I'll hook her up. I still owe her a few bucks for a nice sofa she hooked me up with when I put my place here together anyway.
It's funny, I built her a building with her name in lights and a landing pad in Chicago way back, & I'll likely put her name on some cool planes in scrolly lettering and she'll be all thrilled.

I have no experience with Logitech, all I have ever known is my trusty Sidewinder, still works perfectly after all these years, just fits so comfortably in the palm of my hand, an old friend always there when required 8O :?
