Instant replay aircraft carrier deck disappeared

Hi again after some years absence.
Unfortunately my PC crashed and I lost all my FS stuff
Windows 10 64 bit
Intel i5 cpu 2.67 GHz
4GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 5450.0
Steam edition FSX

Just getting back into things and have downloaded several additional aircraft to the FSX Acceleration basics.
Eventually managed to land BAE Goshawk (Suclaro download) on an Aircraft carrier having taken off from Norfolk Virginia Naval AS.
Went to instant replay to admire my skills (despite at least 5 bolters) but the aircraft carrier had disappeared from the playback and I landed on thin air.
After closing down the replay, the deck of the carrier reappeared.

What have I managed to not reinstall as this used to work perfectly before?

Boy it's been a long time since I FSX-ed, but If I recall, I think that the state of other vehicles are not saved during 'recording' and so the replay doesn't show them. I recall many replays of missing carriers.

Have you been able to view carriers during replay in past FSX installs?
