Post by jaeger52 » Sat Dec 15, 2012 7:39 pm

Is there any way to locate your aircraft to a particular set of map coordinates? How to do it?

Yes, go to map, and on the left you will see coordinates. Put the cursor on your plane, left click on the plane and move your mouse. The coordinates will change. If the coordinates are out of the map box, release the mouse and hover at the corners, sides, or top/bottom. You should see an arrow. Click which direction you need to go, and the map will move. For long distances, use the minus button to get close to your intended coordinates. When you are close, use the plus button to get almost within 5 feet of your target. Click ok, and it will reload the map, at that location.

It is really easy. Just play with the map.

Select "Slew" on/off = Y

Move up slowly - Q or F3
Move up quickly - F4

Move down slowly - A
Move down Quickly F1

These can also be controlled by the hat switch on your joystick.

I'm sure I posted this on here a few years back, but here it is again, hope everyone finds it useful.

I did not compile this document, credit goes to: "Radarman" www.flyawayssimulation.com

I have the same for FS9 but that is on four pages.
