If you are adding them directly into the subfolders for Texture and Scenery, you should not have a problem.
However, if you are creating a new sub-folder just for this scenery, you must go into the Scenery Library and tell FSX to "Add" this new folder.
ex:
Add On Scenery
Your new Folder
Scenery
Texture

I'll ask once again, please can you supply the locations and filenames of the addons in question..... Until I can see what we are dealing with, I'm in no position to give you answers.AvroArrow wrote:They all say only to put them in the add-on scenery folder. How do I break them down to where they need to go?

OK, thanks for putting up the links, I'll will deal with the first one at the top of your list.........
This is the simple way, create a folder on your desktop, and rename it SEAFSX, unzip the contents of the Zip file into this folder, then drag the complete SEAFSX folder into your "Addon Scenery" folder inside FSX.
Next stage is to add the SEAFSX scenery so that FSX can find it, start up FSX, and from the main menu select the "Settings" option, then select "Scenery Library", from there select "Add Area", from there you will see the addon scenery folder amongst others, open it and you will now see your SEAFSX folder, hightlight it ony.... DO NOT OPEN IT.
Click OK, and allow FSX to load in the file, ..... job done !
From this point, I do the same as I do with FS9, just to make sure...... Reboot, and reload FSX, you should now see your Scenery Addon in all it's glory.
Remember..... When you add any scenery in the addon folder, you must always add it to the library after, otherwise it will never show up.
Now if you have loaded all the others in the same way, follow the above procedure with each and every one, and you should see all of them....
Report back on your efforts please......... and good luck.
