FSX+REX2.0=WOW!

Post by 121a » Tue Aug 04, 2009 4:15 am

I finally have an HD monitor and was stunned by awesomeness of FSX with real environment extreme 2.0
I still need to play with it more but these images are completely stock. I have been gone for some time, esp from FSX, so i am just thrilled to come back to this:

I've got REX as well, and it is really very realistic as for the water and cloud textures are concerned.

There are a few things I don't like about it, but that's for a later time.

But I have to agree with T-Fish, you have some jaggie issues. Otherwise, nice pics.

Yeah, the texture loading is really slow. Expect to spend 5 minutes easy to get them loaded up.

I also have a problem with the interface of the nav lights. It wants to create it's own, even though I have it set at default. As well, it gives my afterburners an unusual look to them. One that I don't like.

Jpeg compression is killing it a little bit but it's much better.
