FIXATION

Post by skipperdan » Fri Oct 23, 2009 12:16 pm

This is an excellent article from AOPA. Here is a paragraph extracted from one of the links:

The consensus from the readers was that simulators are particularly good at teaching instrument procedures, but they lack the ability to train students to perform basic maneuvers that require a "feel" for the aircraft. Everyone agreed that computer-based ground trainers offer instructors one more tool in their quest to train better pilots.

Please check out all of links. 8) 8)

Please forgive me.

I did not realize that you are unable to access this AOPA link if you are not an AOPA member. I created this post from my desktop computer. However, when I tried to access it from my laptop computer, it asked for my AOPA Identification and Password. 8)

I guess that you'all will just have to join AOPA to appreciate these excellent articles.

Here is a link for a free membership to AOPA. I keep posting this link but I have not yet received any reply from anyone indicating that you took advantage of this offer. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS AND GALS?
